Who is Tikkun Toronto?
Tikkun Toronto is a community inspired by a diversity of spiritual and social justice traditions and committed to Tikkun Olam, a Jewish belief in healing and transforming the world and ourselves. We work through the arts, politics and inclusive spirituality in a manner that is caring, creative, collaborative and fun. What is Tikkun?
Tikkun is the Hebrew word for “healing, repairing, and transforming”. Our vision of how we achieve this is articulated in Tikkun magazine, the core vision of which can be found on the Tikkun website at http://www.tikkun.org.

Out of those principles has developed the international Tikkun community, a loose affiliation of small groups, largely from the US, of which our members are a part. Tikkun Toronto is the local chapter of the international Tikkun Community.

The Israel Stories are recordings by individual members of Tikkun Toronto about the complexities, changes, and tensions in our personal relationships to Israel. These stories explore how we wrestle with those tensions in our lives, and we hope they inspire you to do so, wherever your path may lie. We share the stories in a spirit of dialogue, and in the hopes of a deep and shared nurturance for us all.
The recordings average ten minutes, and there are a series of questions for discussion, for those who want them.
TWO new stories just added!
